HOLISTIC SCIENCE TEACHING FELLOWSHIP –  IN YOUR OWN TIME

After more than 5 years, 300+ Teachers, 8 Cohorts, and 5+ countries, and piloting the Holistic Science Teaching (self-paced) MOOC in January 2026, Holistic Science Teaching Fellowship is now launching its first Cohort of Self-Paced Online Course (MOOC). This will be an opportunity for Teachers to receive Holistic Science Teaching Fellowship through a MOOC followed by AI-Evaluated Classroom Performance. 

What is Holistic Teaching MOOC?

A self-paced online course designed for science teachers who want to bring curiosity, critical inquiry, and interdisciplinary thinking into their classrooms. This program builds on the success of earlier in-person workshops and now offers teachers the flexibility to learn on their own schedule.

Course Description 

The Holistic Science Teaching (HSTF) MOOC brings history, ethics, philosophy, culture, and real-world cases into the heart of science education. It equips teachers with practical tools, planning strategies, and frameworks that help them connect scientific ideas across disciplines and show students that science is part of a living human story.

What You Will Explore?

15 interactive modules (20+ hours of Instruction) covering:

• Big Questions and the nature of scientific knowledge

• History and philosophy of science, adapted for classroom use

• Ethics, society, culture, and religion in science

• Holistic lesson planning and assessment

• Practical methods for using AI to teach holistically

K–12 science teachers (especially 6-12 Grades) looking to strengthen their teaching practice, spark student curiosity, and bring interdisciplinary approaches into their classrooms.

Application Deadline:

You must register by Jun 10, 2026. And start any time to finish. MOOC Will become available on June 15, 2026. You must complete the MOOC by July 15, 2026 and become eligible for Certificate of Completion. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. MOOC FREE TO ATTEND | MOOC Certificate at a Nominal Cost of PKR 2500/-

2. Holistic Science Teaching Fellowship Certification available at PKR 7500/- (includes mastery of holistic teaching via 3-5 AI-enabled classroom evaluations).

3. MOOC must be completed before midnight July 15, 2026. Classroom Implementation could happen between Aug 1 and Sept 30th, 2026 (max)

4. Participants must submit a revised lesson plan and 1 classroom video (and any other evidence) by 31 August 2026 of them applying the learnings of the MOOC to teach holistically. 

5. MOOC Certificate of Completion is Awarded after examination of a Lesson Plan submitted. 

6. Fellowship Certification is done after satisfactory performance (3.5/5) on 3-5 AI-enabled evaluations of classroom performance.
